The mission of the role is to lead the end-to-end execution of a large-scale, complex greenfield project in Brazil, starting from the earliest stages to full delivery, ensuring alignment with Etex’s sustainability and quality standards. This role will also evolve into managing future projects across Latin America.

 

What you’ll do

  • Manage the full project lifecycle: feasibility, design, execution, commissioning, and handover.
  • Coordinate with global engineering teams and local stakeholders.
  • Oversee contractors, suppliers, and internal resources, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and KPIs, applying corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure effective communication and reporting to senior leadership and steering committees.
  • Build strong cross-functional collaboration with Etex Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.

 

What you’ll bring

  • University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, ideally with greenfield projects.
  • Solid knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies, risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Proven experience leading and managing teams with autonomy and accountability.
  • PMP certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Advanced English (mandatory); Portuguese required; Spanish or French desirable.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across cultures and stakeholder levels.
