The place of work: Sobota, next to Poznań.
Support the creation and the implementation of the Etex EHS programs and training to protect employees against harm and maintain safe working conditions.
Caring for high standards and compliance in environmental, health and safety management within the division.
What you'll do
- Health and safety management on divisional level – defines division-wide safety standards in accordance with legal requirements and group standards. This includes implementation of safety standards, support of the creation of a common safety culture and alignment on safety reporting.
- Is central point of contact of the division in all terms of health and safety management.
- Communicates changes, supports safety training activities and coordinated the activities of the safety personnel in all production units.
- Is responsible for the safety reporting.
- Takes care for proper follow-up on safety issues, safety relevant measure and health management activities. Closely collaborates with HR and the production units on that.
- Analyse and challenge the Etex EHS incidents and accidents reported to the Corporate EHS department. Assist in preparing the RCA (root cause analysis) and a SER (serious event report) in case of need. Share SER’s, good practices and information within Etex to prevent reoccurrence of accidents.
- Environmental management on divisional level.
- Implementation of new policies.
What you'll bring
- At least 3 years of experience in similar role
- Very good command of English (B2)
- Certificate in E,H or S
- Advanced knowledge of the applicable international and common local EHS legislation, EHS management systems and Etex EHS policies, standards, reporting and related legislation.
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and application of Health & Safety legislation and processes and how to apply those in a practical way to prevent accidents and ill health.
- Knowledge on HIRA (hazard identification and risk assessment) and machine safety
- Knowledge on different relevant safety topics as there are: working in confined spaces, working at height, LOTOTO, site traffic safety.
- Good knowledge on behavioural based safety or any other related topic. Profound knowledge of the SafeStart program or similar.
