This role requires the development of new business in above markets from Oil and Gas projects for light weight cementitious spray and non-spray applications - Boards, Fire Stop, High performance insulation. Assist the Regional Segment Manager in yearly business budgeting process and plans.
What you'll do
- Proactively drive and participate in all Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects in the region
- Maintain structured project data in CRM as part of the Sales Excellence strategy
- Ensure a healthy and consistent project pipeline with visibility over five years
- Manage commercial profitability, strategic planning, and business analysis to meet regional sales targets
- Develop and submit Sales & Marketing plans for approval through Asia Pacific and OGBS management
- Ensure Promat products are specified in key vendor lists through collaboration with local clients and EPCs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the route-to-market chain
- Establish and manage relationships with Promat Recognized Applicators (PRA) and agents in the assigned area
- Identify, evaluate, and measure performance of PRAs with support from the Regional Segment Manager Energy
- Collaborate with the OGBS team to support global business success
- Develop current product and application opportunities, and introduce new products with OGBS support
What you'll bring
- Engineering or Business qualification
- Experience in the Oil & Gas/Pethrochemical industry, preferably in promoting and selling Passive Fire Protection, Protective Coatings products via direct contacts with National Oil Companies (NOS), FEEDS, and EPCs including Fire Protection Contractors
- Cross-cultural business experience required; Brazil onshore sector knowledge preferred (refineries, gas plants)
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Strong technical and commercial background
- Solid understanding of business finance, contracts, margin analysis, and life cycle costing
- Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and sales performance management
- Proven success in technical sales within specification-driven environments
- In-depth knowledge of materials, systems, markets, and key influencers in the sales process
