We’re looking for a Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to support our UK Business Unit Managers in making timely, informed decisions that help drive performance. This role is key to analysing financial performance, identifying deviations, and proposing corrective actions. You'll play an active part in budgeting, forecasting, and sales controlling, and will help anticipate future trends impacting the company’s P&L.

What you’ll do:

  • Take a lead role in coordinating the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment across departments (Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Production)
  • Provide insight into pricing, volumes, and fixed costs, with an understanding of production costs/COGS to ensure overall budget accuracy
  • Play a hands-on role in month-end and year-end closings—with a focus on fixed and personnel costs, and other income/expenses
  • Track monthly expenses (accrued and invoiced) to ensure complete and accurate financial closing
  • Verify the accuracy of monthly and annual sales data
  • Prepare bonus analysis in collaboration with Credit Control to ensure accrual accuracy
  • Analyse trends in pricing and margin evolution, and understand cost structures at each margin level
  • Conduct deviation analysis and propose corrective actions to improve performance
  • Anticipate trends impacting margins and the broader P&L
  • Participate actively in cross-functional meetings, including with the BU General Manager, providing constructive challenge and insight
  • Support teams across the business by sharing tools, training, and calendars, and contribute to knowledge-sharing around FP&A best practices

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong communicator and active listener, able to influence effectively across functions
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with resilience and adaptability
  • Professional qualification in a finance-related discipline (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • A degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven experience in a similar FP&A or business partnering role, with strategic and analytical capabilities
