Production Line Operator (Senior Cover)

This is a permanent, full-time, senior on-site production role at our Stirling facility, where you will step up to cover the Senior Operator during periods of absence - supervising the team, maintaining quality standards, and keeping health and safety at the forefront day-to-day. The role works a 28-day rotating shift cycle with 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am), a full week off at the end of each cycle, and regular overtime available. PPE, workwear, safety equipment, shower facilities, and a canteen are all provided on site.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise the production line and support team members to work safely and in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure product quality standards are met, managing line checks and taking action on non-conforming product.
  • Lead health and safety on the line, identifying hazards and supporting toolbox talks and safety communications.
  • Work alongside maintenance to resolve issues as they arise and keep the line running.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and lean activities across the plant.
  • Support and develop line operators, sharing your knowledge of the product and process.
  • Manage corrective actions on the line and assist the Shift Leader with SOPs and operational communications.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • A good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally within a production environment.
  • Experience supporting or guiding others on the shop floor, with good communication across teams.
  • The ability to work alongside maintenance colleagues to identify and resolve issues.
  • A strong focus on safety and quality in everything you do.
