At Etex, we seek to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers and our communities. Are you looking for a company where you can learn, grow & lead? Join us as a Production Line Operator in Stirling!

This is a permanent, full-time, on-site production role at our Stirling facility, where you will operate equipment used in the manufacture of glass mineral wool products with a focus on safety, quality, and team working. The role works a 28-day rotating shift cycle with 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am), a full week off at the end of each cycle, and regular overtime available - a pattern that works well for those with young families. PPE, workwear, safety equipment, shower facilities, and a canteen are all provided on site.

What you’ll do:

  • Operate the production line in line with standard operating procedures, keeping quality and safety at the forefront of everything you do.
  • Pack material and ship to stock as part of your day-to-day line activities.
  • Identify and report hazards, near misses, and non-conforming product promptly.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards across your designated area.
  • Work across departments to support plant improvements and lean initiatives.
  • Assist with production line trials linked to equipment and product improvements.
  • Support your team by sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive working environment.

What you’ll bring:

  • The ability and physical fitness to carry out manual work throughout a 12-hour shift.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing or a similar industrial environment is a bonus, though not essential - transferable skills are very much welcomed.
