As Production Senior Shift Leader, you'll be the senior person on site during your shift, taking responsibility for all production lines and for the team of around 18 people working alongside you. Your focus will be on keeping manufacturing running safely, effectively and efficiently, delivering a good quality product to our customers through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, with the health, safety and wellbeing of your team always coming first. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Stirling site, working a rotating shift pattern of 12-hour day and night shifts on a repeating four-week cycle. You'll join a supportive team with a real focus on continuous improvement, including regular Kaizen events and shop-floor suggestion schemes, and there are genuine opportunities to grow and progress across the business.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and support your shift team, making sure everyone works safely and looking after their health, safety and wellbeing.
• Take charge on site during your shift, particularly out of hours, overseeing all production lines.
• Keep production running effectively and efficiently, meeting quality standards and daily targets.
• Follow and uphold the site's standard operating procedures, and take an active part in risk assessments.
• Step in when the process is not running well, working out the issue and getting production back on track safely.
• Identify training needs within your team and support their development.
• Get involved in continuous improvement and lean initiatives to help improve the plant.

What you’ll bring:

• A background in manufacturing or plant environments.
• Good general knowledge of plant and process.
• The ability to organise yourself and your team, and to identify training needs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Resilience.
• The ability to learn new tasks and adapt to new developments.
• Drive to achieve high standards.
• Basic IT skills.
• Literacy and numeracy.
• It would also be an advantage to have experience of Permit to Work, isolation procedures and confined space management.
