The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring process reliability and maintaining high standards of quality assurance for all products manufactured at the plant. This role involves leading and developing a technical team, driving continuous improvement, and playing a key part in cross-functional collaboration.
What you’ll do:
- Control and monitoring of all EHS-relevant tasks and topics in the laboratory area.
- Development and implementation of continuous improvement processes and measures.
- Prepare all the internal and external quality audits and manage the follow-up.
- Maintain ISO9001 and other certifications of quality.
- Making sure that 5S process is well implemented and respected and organize audit in accordance with the planning.
- Organizational and technical management of the laboratory at the site.
- Lead the team.
- Responsibility for ongoing quality control of the manufactured glass wool products.
- Creating monthly reports
- Budget planning, investment planning and control.
- Coordination of measures with headquarters regarding new projects and initiatives.
- Communication via project and department meetings.
What you’ll bring:
The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical understanding of production processes, along with proven experience in people and project management. They will be an effective collaborator, confident in engaging across functions, and committed to delivering ongoing process improvements through sound decision making and leadership.
Background in Quality and Compliance management within a manufacturing environment
- Lead Auditor accreditation (e.g. ISO standards)
- Familiarity with BES 6001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
