Logistic Assistant (6 months)

Summary

As a member of the Logistics team, the Logistic Assistant is a critical role and is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of a company. Logistics Assistant ensures efficient transportation, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and oversee logistics operations: International air, road and ocean shipments.
• Coordinate Shipments: Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that goods are delivered on time and according to quality standards.
• Documentation & Compliance: Manage all logistics documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations, including international shipping and customs.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain effective relationships with third-party logistics providers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Problem Resolution: Address logistics challenges such as delays, shipping discrepancies, claims and inventory issues, providing timely solutions and escalating when necessary.

What you'll bring

- Proven experience in logistics coordination, customer service, or a related role.
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong collaborative and team-based approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- The role requires managing complex logistics operations, collaborating with diverse teams, and effectively handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

- experience in SAP (MM, SD) 
- English is the main language. Spanish could be an advantage.
