Before the use of building materials is approved for use in fire rated constructions, their fire performance is demonstrated by fire tests.

These fire tests are executed to the specifications given internationally defined standards.
As the Global Test Engineer, together with independent test labs, you will define a test package for an approval that is in line with the demand of our Product managers or R&D experts.

What You'll Do:

• Define test packages with independent fire test laboratories.
• Draft precise CAD drawings for each required fire test.
• Organize logistics of all building materials to European test labs.
• Supervise on‑site installation performed by the internal installation team.
• Verify that all installation activities follow safety requirements.
• Witness and monitor the execution of fire tests.
• Evaluate fire test results and analyze performance data.
• Propose improvements and follow up on corresponding approvals.
  
  

What You'll Bring:

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent by experience
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about fire testing within construction sector.
• Proactive attitude and hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with people within different levels of organization.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Auto Cad knowledge.
• Experience in fire resistance or fire testing is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
