What you’ll do:

  • Provide technical support for fire safety, ensuring customer objectives are met and delivering chargeable services.
  • Manage a team of engineers across Europe ensuring a seamless customer journey and improving response times.
  • Establish and maintain technical expertise within fire safety, sharing knowledge to keep Promat at the forefront of the market.
  • Support the Regional Segment Manager with technical solutions, fire tests, and case studies related to intumescent, microporous, and fire protection boards.
  • Use ONE CRM for planning and communicating technical support opportunities.
  • Build relationships with industry associations and act as a technical committee member, communicating the latest market developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Management and R&D, to resolve technical issues and develop new or modified products.
  • Represent the Technical team in presentations, site visits, and proposals, acting as a product and system expert.
  • Build relationships with test laboratories and certification bodies to streamline testing and approval processes.
  • Monitor competitor products and market trends, providing detailed technical analysis.
  • Ensure cost efficiency in all tasks and represent Promat in industry events and associations.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Material Science, or Fire Safety.
  • Proven technical experience and ideally experience managing a team of engineers.
  • Strong technical knowledge in fire protection products and systems within industrial segments.
  • Strong background in the OEM industry.
  • Ability to present technical concepts and prepare clear reports and proposals.
  • Proactive, customer-oriented, and capable of managing technical strategies and solutions.
  • Willingness to expand technical knowledge through self-study and training.
  • Ability to travel around 30% across Europe
