Summary

Our Global Web Analytics team is on a mission to provide world-class analytics services for the bigger Etex digital community operating in more than 40 countries. We strive for excellence all the way from data collection, data modelling to delivering insights and realizing the value of data. We are looking for a passionate Web Analytics Specialist to join our Web Analytics team. It is an exciting opportunity to work with large-scale analytics solutions; and using which to uncover customer, product, and operational insights. In this role you will contribute to team’s effort by working cross-functionally with colleagues from other units and using different tools to translate business needs into tracking requirements from ideation to execution and monitoring. Besides maintaining the data layer, you will also be our data collection implementation engineer, you will be gatekeeper of data quality at the source. |
What you'll do 1
Stakeholder Satisfaction:
- Manage service requests and ensure fulfilment within specified SLAs
- Monitor the effectiveness of analytics implementation strategies
- Ensure stakeholders are well-informed of implementation progress and manage expectations.
- KPI : number of fulfilled service requests + Internal Survey
Collaboration and Communication
- Be able to communicate data-driven recommendations effectively.
- Keeping teammates informed through team stand-ups and meetings.
- Align own work with team through collaborative workplace tools.
- KPI: Documentation coverage of the implemented solutions
Quality of Tagging Requirements:
- Prepare tracking requirements that represents business needs and to be implemented by our IT department.
- Monitor and test data collection is implemented as per specification.
- Report any data quality issues to teammates
- KPI: Minimal amount of requirements that need rework (due to errors in defining requirements)
What you'll do 2
Quality of Tagging Implementation:
- Along with maintaining data layer schema, you will be the go-to person as our tagging engineer. Be overall responsible of our Google Tag Manager tool. Ability to write custom tagging scripts when needed.
- Support with technical issues related to GTM and data Layer
- Be the owner of data quality at the source - Perform data quality audits
- Provide technical advices
- Setup A/B and multivariate testing, e.g. Google Website Optimizer, Visual Website Optimizer, Optimizely etc. and hotjar survey - triggered them via GTM
- KPI: Data quality monitored through Data Observatory Dashboard
Quality of Analytics Output:
- Set up and maintain dashboards that are aligned with the conventions defined.
- Monitor and test that all components published are functional
- Provide recommendations of best practices regarding the analytics tools’ governance
