We are looking for a Competition law Counsel primarily to oversee the implementation of Etex’s policies, guidelines and procedures in competition law matters, but also take part in other compliance related initiatives.

As a Competition law Counsel, you will take a leading role (i) in analyzing the evolution of applicable regulatory requirements to support Etex’s activities in all countries where it operates, (ii) in ensuring that applicable procedures and policies are comprehensive, robust, and current, and (iii) in enhancing Etex’s compliance culture supporting relevant internal stakeholders in their day-to-day activities and delivering necessary training. We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in compliance related topics (and more specifically the fields of economic sanctions, export controls, and anti-bribery) with a view to grow into a full-bodied compliance counsel.   

You will report directly to Etex’s Antitrust & Compliance Officer.  

As a  Competition law Counsel you have:

  • A degree in Law and master’s degree in Competition law
  • 3-to-5 years of experience in a competition law legal role in a law-firm or in-house
  • A strong knowledge of all aspects of competition laws with an interest in the latest evolution in the field of sustainability
  • Experience analyzing, managing and overseeing implementing competition law compliance programs across a complex organization with a global presence
  • Experience working internationally and/or working with international business partners to develop and oversee implementation of corporate programs across divisions and globally
  • An excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

 

As a Competition law Counsel you are:

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and ability to work in French, German and/or Spanish a plus
  • High-analytical thinking with strong attention to detail
  • Results driven. Business oriented problem solving
  • Strong customer/client focus and ability to think in a pragmatic and concrete way
  • High integrity and ethical values
  • Team player with strong Interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks and projects
