Etex is seeking a highly motivated Global Health, Safety & Environment Manager to play a key role in strengthening our global safety culture. This role sits within the corporate EHS team, reporting directly to the Group Head of EHS, and is primarily focused on leading safety initiatives, supporting compliance, and driving behavioural change across our manufacturing operations.
You’ll be instrumental in promoting a safe, healthy, and low impact working environment across Etex sites worldwide. Through coaching, collaboration, and technical expertise, you’ll help embed a proactive safety mindset and ensure alignment with legal and internal standards.
What you'll do
- Lead and support safety programmes that reduce incidents and improve performance
- Drive strategies to reduce risks and implement practical mitigation measures
- Influence teams to adopt safe behaviours and reinforce a strong safety culture
- Deliver EHS training and contribute to Group EHS meetings and initiatives
- Support environmental reporting and compliance as part of wider EHS duties
- Use IT tools to streamline reporting and communication across sites
What you'll bring
- Global experience in safety and environmental roles within a multinational, manufacturing environment
- Experience leading global teams and strategy related to EHS
- Strong knowledge of safety legislation, ISO 14001, and EHS systems
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g. Spanish, French) are a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and EHS platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence without direct authority
- Ability to coach, train, and inspire teams at all levels
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-evolving global context
