Are you a visionary in the world of packaging design and development? Do you possess the expertise to ensure product safety, enhance brand recognition, optimize cost-efficiency, and align with sustainability initiatives? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
As the Global Packaging Development Leader at Etex, you'll be at the forefront of packaging innovation, pioneering primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness in packaging.
• Develop and share packaging best practices across plants.
• Identify opportunities to reduce packaging consumption and costs.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing team on optimizing sourcing and sustainability.
• Innovate and establish efficient communication along the distribution chain.
• Collaborate on packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Test and implement packaging solutions in production.
• Develop efficient packaging processes for secondary and tertiary packaging.
• Bring innovative and creative solutions to complex design problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a packaging-related technical role.
• Experience in the building products industry is a plus.
• Expertise in CAD is a plus, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Action and result-oriented, with a focus on excellence in execution.
• Strategic thinker and collaborative problem solver.
• Ability to foster teamwork across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
