What You'll Do:

  • Reinforce project management and project life cycle to Capex below 1M€.
  • Review and publish annually Capex templates, policies, and guidelines.
  • Streamline and harmonize processes and tools, working with local finance and operations teams.
  • Monitor effective internal controls including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, financial reporting, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate completion of monthly budget status and project completion dates for all projects above 200K, delivering central analysis with KPIs and checks.
  • Check delta between Estimated At Completion and Budget At Completion for projects in execution, addressing risks of overruns.
  • Formalize and enforce cost control, overrun guidance, and monthly review of commitments in SAP to ensure data quality.
  • Ensure business cases are updated regularly, tracked with KPIs, and followed through with post-mortem audits.
  • Create and publish Capex progress reporting (KPIs) and share best practices across divisions.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline.
  • Experience in operating in a range of economic conditions, i.e. expansion, contraction, stable economic conditions.
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles—understanding of P&L and balance sheet dynamics.
  • Ability to drive change.
  • Solid understanding of SAP Capex transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise constructively with many international stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Excel (incl Analysis for Office and BPC), SAP, Power BI, COGNOS.
