This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the global product strategy and set the vision and direction for our entire product portfolio, driving profitability and ensuring continued market growth.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Translate complex market dynamics into clear, actionable strategies that strengthen both performance and innovation.
  • Establish and manage a global product management framework that aligns market needs, R&D priorities, and commercial execution.
  • Conduct market and portfolio analysis to drive profitability, identify growth opportunities, and optimise product lifecycles.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing product management team, establish robust analytical frameworks, and create a strong, collaborative community across regions.
  • Build and lead a community of practice with local marketing managers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice adoptions.
  •  Introduce structure, analytical rigour, and process discipline to enhance decision-making and execution in a matrix environment.
  • Ensure the divisional product portfolio is aligned with group sustainability goals and commercial excellence initiatives.

 

Key requirements:

 

  • Extensive experience in product management, marketing, or a related strategic field within the building materials industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing product or marketing teams across international, matrixed environments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic capabilities, with the ability to translate complexity into clarity and action.
  • Track record in portfolio management, market analysis, and product-commercial alignment.
  • Comfortable leading in a matrixed international organisation.
  • Exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving shared outcomes.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving market performance and driving long-term growth.
  •  Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all
