About the role:

We are looking for a senior global business development professional with extensive knowledge and experience within the high-performance insulation industry.


Reporting directly to the Head of the Promat Platform, you will play a crucial role in maximizing our sales potential by developing and executing innovative business models and strategies on a global scale. This position offers significant autonomy and decision-making authority, enabling you to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders across various segments and countries.


What you’ll do:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of disruptive business models and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to set ambitious goals and drive performance across segments and countries.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in product offerings and business models.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and customer needs.
  • Implement initiatives to drive business results and achieve growth targets.
  • Act as the primary contact between Segment Leaders, Country Managers, and the Platform, ensuring alignment and fostering collaboration.
  • Track key performance indicators to assess progress and refine strategies as necessary.
  • Analyse market trends and customer insights to optimize business models and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide resources and guidance to ensure the successful roll-out of divisional initiatives.
  • Address performance gaps through coaching, training, and development initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on business development and strategy.



What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of passive fire protection and high-performance insulation.
  • Industry-specific consultancy or Business Development director-level background 
  • Proven track record in strategic business development, including commercial and industrial partnerships, acquisitions, and joint ventures within a similar industry.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and strategic leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in analysing market trends and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Strong performance optimization skills and ability to navigate and drive success in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
