What You'll Do:
- Lead biogas and renewable electricity sourcing, with priority on European countries.
- Implement a muti-dimensional risk mitigation and affordable strategy, with combination of procurement of energy attribute certificates (EAC) and long-term commitments (PPA).
- Guarantee high quality certification and EAC cancellation to secure decarbonization targets and renewable recognition.
- Build a portfolio of solutions to keep short- to long-term energy cost under control, with near baseload supply and limited take-or-pay commitments.
- Identify best-fit opportunities by country and for key manufacturing plants. Evaluate risk & opportunity with alternatives.
- Monitor bioenergy (fatal heat, biomass, biomethane, green hydrogen…) market development and projects from industrial peers and direct competitors.
- Lead biogas and power purchase agreement negotiation with critical suppliers. Support local Energy buyers and Energy managers for key points of negotiation.
What You'll Bring:
- A master’s degree in engineering or finance.
- Several years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the energy sector and energy attribute certificate experience (either as a buyer/broker/seller).
- Technical, financial and contracting skills within energy sector.
- An excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
