What You'll Do:

  • Analyze tax-relevant business processes.
  • Define the implementation of new business activities in SAP.
  • Ensure the follow-up of indirect tax law changes in SAP and our processes.
  • Support tax compliance management, digitalization strategy, automation, and data analysis.
  • Develop VAT-relevant policies and training concepts.
  • Collaborate with global areas of Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, as well as external consultants.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects, such as post-merger integrations.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • A degree in the field of Finance, Tax Technology, Data Science, Economics, (Business) Management, Business Engineering, or recognized professional training in these areas.
  • Good knowledge and experience with European VAT, non-EU VAT knowledge (GST) is a plus. Basic customs knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with accounting processes is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to deal with complex value flows and process chains.
  • Knowledge of SAP, especially in the mapping of tax-relevant business processes, ideally in S/4Hana.
  • Understanding of SAP VAT add-ons, tax engines, or VAT reporting tools is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to proactively take ownership of your projects.
  • Experience in project work, project management, or sub-project management is
  • a plus.
  • Fluency in English. Spanish or French is a plus.
